Due to the antioxidant properties of the anthocyanidins present in this berry, it is used to treat varicose veins, venous insufficiency, fatigue, haemorrhoids, among others.
Rhatany
Originally from Peru, the roots of this plant contain proanthocyanidins, traditionally known for their venotonic and vasoprotective properties, which help in the treatment of venous problems.
Hamamelis
Hamamelis is a flowering shrub native to North America. Its extract, usually obtained from its leaves, bark or small dry branches, is traditionally used to treat diseases such as haemorrhoids.
Horse Chestnut
Native to South-eastern Europe, the leaves and seeds of this broadleaf plant are traditionally used for treating varicose veins, haemorrhoids, and phlebitis.
